Thirty-two years ago you arrived on this earth in a flurry of activity and emotions. Each day that passed for the next 23 years was infused with your energy, your joy, your passion. Each person that you touched felt it. That energy, that joy, that passion was so boundless that we all still carry it to this day. It is my everlasting gift. It fills every nook and cranny of my broken heart. Today, on your birthday, I will let my grief and my gratitude fill every room I am in and every outdoor space that I pass through.
