“The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing… not healing, not curing… that is a friend who cares.”

— HENRI NOUWEN

It is six months since the physical world lost an amazing woman. She is my daughter. But today grief overwhelms me and I am at a loss for words. My amazing son. Her loving friends. You have found beautiful words. Thank you for doing what I can not. Thank you for allowing me to have moments of despair and hours of grief. I will never stop grieving. But I will never stop living. In her honor. Every day. Sempre. And to my friends and family who can be silent with me I thank you from the bottom of my shattered heart. It is because of you that I can live each day and keep her spirit alive.
