43 Months: Jan 8, 2018

“Your life unfolds in proportion to your bravery.”

— UNKNOWN

2014 was the year of shock, when the inconceivable became reality.  2015 was the year of numbness, barely going through the motions. 2016 was the year of functioning, when the basics were once again possible. 2017 was the year of hard work, where decisions that had seemed impossible were made. It has been 43 months since the beautiful life force that is my daughter left this world. 2018…. may it be the year of possibilities.

As always, Lisa, I am in awe of your strength. I still cannot believe that Sophie is gone. In so many ways, she is not. Sophie is not only remembered, her grace, beauty and exuberance is still seen and felt. I think of her so often. Your boundless capacity for love and your generosity in sharing your thoughts, and her, with us, keeps her alive and makes our lives better. I miss her.

    Lisa,

I saw Mary Jo yesterday and we had both read your post and been moved by it. Want you to know that we feel that possibility with you.

Sending so much love and light to you,

    Laura
