“Three things cannot be hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.”
While the entire world swirls, caught up in its own dysfunction, we still must live each day with our own truths. My truth today is that my world was shattered 6 years ago when my daughter, my person, died. My truth today is that my life is filled with people who have opened their hearts to me and to her, to carry her memory and to help me carry my grief. My truth today is that if she were still here this world would be a better place. My truth today is that whatever happened in the past can no longer be changed and whatever will happen in the future cannot be controlled. The sun rose this morning and the moon will rise tonight. My truth today is that today is all I have and I must honor it and be grateful, even amidst all of the chaos.
