“To love someone is to see a miracle invisible to others.”
— FRANCOIS MAURIAC
It has been observed and written by many much more eloquent than I that the depth of our grief reflects the depth of our love. I have found much solace in the past 38 months in the knowledge that as my grief is immense, therefore so is my love for my beautiful girl. But it is only with the passage of time that I have also come to realize the miracle not only of that love, but of the love I have for the man who breathes every breath of this journey by my side. Just as I must remember to always hold space for him, I must also remember that I get to see miracles. To grieve is to love. To love is to see miracles.
